What Tap Gel is

A hybrid-gel enhancement with a polished, structured finish

Tap Gel describes a hybrid-gel enhancement system: a sculpting material that is shaped and cured to build an enhancement, then finished for the look you want. It is different from ordinary gel polish, which is a thin color layer, and from SNS or dip powder, which builds with powder and resin rather than a gel enhancement. Builder or hybrid gels can also be used with sculpting methods such as dual forms; the method and the material are related choices, not competing definitions.

At Element Nail Bar Laveen, this page describes the service category and the price choices approved for the planned Laveen menu. It does not claim a particular manufacturer or formula is used until the Laveen team confirms the product at booking. A technician can review your natural nails and any existing enhancement before recommending the safest fit.

Choose your service

Fullset or Fill? Start with the service that matches your nails

Tap Gel Fullset — $75

A new Tap Gel enhancement shaped for the length and silhouette you want. Choose this when you are starting fresh, changing the structure, or when existing product needs to be removed and reassessed.

Tap Gel Fill — $65

A maintenance visit for a suitable existing Tap Gel enhancement. The technician rebalances growth, refines the surface, and restores the shape where appropriate; a fill is not a way to refill a plastic mold. If your current product is lifting, damaged, a different system, or too grown out, the team may recommend a new service after an in-person assessment.

Both services are listed separately so the booking selection and the appointment record can show the correct choice and price. Laveen’s approved opening message remains in place while the location is planned for 2028.

During the appointment

A clear plan from prep through aftercare

Your artist begins by discussing length, shape, color and the condition of your natural nails. Prep and product choice are followed by controlled application, curing according to the verified product instructions, shaping, and finishing. The temporary form or sculpting aid used in a service is not left attached as a full-cover tip unless the chosen system specifically calls for that product.

Maintenance depends on the actual enhancement and how it has grown. Keep the area dry as directed, avoid picking or lifting, and return when the artist recommends a rebalance. Removal is conditional on the product used; the safest approach is professional removal or an assessment before changing systems. The team can confirm whether an existing Tap Gel or other enhancement is eligible for a fill at the appointment.

What changes when you choose Tap Gel?

Tap Gel vs builder gel: both can create a structured enhancement, but the exact viscosity, curing routine and maintenance depend on the product selected. Builder gel is often used to support or overlay the natural nail; Tap Gel is the name used here for the hybrid-gel service family.

Tap Gel vs SNS or dip: dip systems build with powder and resin, while Tap Gel cures as a gel enhancement. The finish, removal steps and maintenance plan should be confirmed for the system applied.

Tap Gel vs Gel-X: Gel-X uses a full-cover soft-gel tip that remains as part of the enhancement. Tap Gel is sculpted with product and shaped; it is not automatically a full-cover tip service. A consultation helps match length, shape and existing-product needs.

Tap Gel FAQs

Questions to answer before you book+

How much is Tap Gel in Laveen?

Tap Gel Fullset is $75 and Tap Gel Fill is $65. These are the approved prices for the four-service launch set.

What is the difference between a Fullset and a Fill?

A Fullset creates a new enhancement. A Fill maintains and rebalances suitable existing product after a technician checks its condition.

Is Tap Gel the same as SNS or dip powder?

No. SNS or dip uses powder and resin; Tap Gel is a gel enhancement system that cures as gel.

Is Tap Gel the same as ordinary gel polish?

No. Gel polish is primarily a thin color layer. Tap Gel is used to build structure as an enhancement.

Can I book a Fill over any existing product?

Not automatically. The artist must assess lifting, damage, growth, thickness and the product already on the nail before confirming a fill.

Can Tap Gel be used with dual forms?

A compatible hybrid or builder gel can be used with a dual-form method. The team confirms the product and technique that fit the appointment.

How is Tap Gel removed?

Removal depends on the actual product. Follow the service team’s guidance and do not peel or force product from the nail.

When can I book Tap Gel in Laveen?

Laveen’s public site currently shows Opening 2028. This page preserves that approved status; booking availability will be confirmed as the location approaches opening.
